A furnace that won't ignite, short-cycles, or keeps tripping its limit switch needs more than a reset in Loretto winters. Every visit includes a carbon monoxide safety check, standard, not an upsell.
A short list of components causes most Furnace Repair calls: ignitor, flame sensor, gas valve, heat exchanger. Each gets tested with a multimeter and combustion analyzer, not replaced on a hunch, not parts-cannon guessing.
What doesn't change from visit to visit.
A combustion analyzer reading for dangerous CO levels is part of every visit, not optional.
We bump no-heat calls ahead of routine visits when it's cold.
Ignitor or heat exchanger, the price is quoted and approved before work begins.
Our techs are trained equally on gas furnaces and electric heat strips, no exceptions.
Six repairs that cover most of our winter calls.
Cracked ignitors and carbon-fouled sensors cause a large share of no-heat calls, usually a same-visit fix.
Gas valve testing confirms the fault before we recommend replacing it.
We inspect carefully with proper equipment rather than assuming based on age.
We test both before condemning the control board.
Older Loretto furnaces with standing pilots have their own failure points — thermocouples, pilot orifices, draft issues that newer ignition doesn't have.
Zero response from the furnace can mean a wiring fault, not a furnace failure to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.
Four steps, safety checked at every one.
Tell us what the furnace is doing and we'll get someone moving.
Truck arrives stocked with common ignitor, flame sensor, and control parts ready to diagnose and often repair same visit.
Safety and diagnostic checks come first, then a flat-rate quote.
We re-check CO before signing off, backed by warranty.
Recent reviews from winter heating calls.
Pilot light kept going out on our older furnace every few days. Tech identified a failing thermocouple that two other companies had overlooked.

Furnace made a loud bang on startup that scared the whole family. Turned out to be a delayed ignition issue from a dirty burner, cleaned and resolved same visit.
— F. Ibekwe, homeowner
Called about a gas smell near the furnace closet and they had someone here within the hour to confirm it was safe before doing any repair work.
— Q. Whitmore, homeowner
Landlord here with an older building, they've kept three separate furnace units running through two winters without a single emergency callout.

What Loretto customers ask most.
We always confirm with a proper reading before quoting.
Yes — it can let combustion gases into breathing air, we won't run a confirmed-cracked unit, taken seriously.
A CO check is standard on every call, no upcharge.
We still service these older systems.
No-heat calls get priority routing, usually same-day even during high demand.
Uncommon parts might mean a follow-up visit to finish the repair.
We dispatch heating techs throughout Loretto — call to confirm.
